The absence of walls allows light to freely pour in, giving an even brighter impression. The morning sunlight and the soft glow of dusk envelop the entire kitchen, making the time spent cooking even more comfortable. Furthermore, the open design facilitates easy communication between those preparing the meals and those enjoying them, creating an atmosphere conducive to natural conversation. The old kitchen, now transformed into such an open and charming space, has enriched everyday life, making it more abundant and enjoyable. かつての古びた壁が取り払われ、今や広々とした空間が広がっています。この変革によって、キッチンは単なる調理スペースを超え、家族や友人が集まり、楽しい時間を過ごす場となりました。 壁がなくなったことで、光が自由に流れ込み、一層明るい印象を与えます。朝の陽光や夕暮れの柔らかな光が、キッチン全体を包み込み、料理の時間がより一層心地よく感じられます。また、開放的なデザインは、料理をする人と食事を楽しむ人とのコミュニケーションを容易にし、会話が生まれやすい雰囲気を醸し出しています。 古くなったキッチンがこのような開放的で魅力的な空間に変貌したことで、日常の生活がより豊かで、心地よいものになりました。

Japanese Bathroom/Timberline/Covington

The space that originally served as a conventional bathroom has been transformed into a Japanese-style bath. This change has made everyday bathing a more special and relaxing experience.

The new bath features a deep and spacious tub, creating an ambiance reminiscent of a hot spring. As a result, bathing has become a more luxurious and rejuvenating activity, providing a space to unwind and alleviate both physical and mental fatigue. The deep tub and the spacious atmosphere characteristic of Japanese baths help create moments of relaxation, allowing one to forget the stresses of daily life.

もともとは一般的なバスルームだった空間が、日本式のお風呂に変えられました。この変革により、日常の入浴がより特別でリラックスできるものになりました。

新しいお風呂には、深くて広い浴槽があり、温泉のような雰囲気が漂っています。これによって、入浴の時間が一段と贅沢で、心身の疲れを癒す場として利用できるようになりました。日本のお風呂は、その深い湯船とゆったりとした空間が、日々のストレスを忘れさせ、くつろぎのひとときを提供してくれます。

シャワーを無くし、隣のウォークインクローゼットとお風呂エリアを拡張しました。
トイレはウォシュレットを完備。
新しいキャビネットを取り付け、床（タイル）を新しくし、換気扇を設置しました。

このままでも十分素敵だったのですが、
シンクなどの使い勝手が悪く、
不便だったそうです。

照明、キャビネット、シンク、床を変えて、
大きな鏡を取り付け、
お客様の要望通りのバスルームに
生まれ変わりました。

拡張したお風呂場の様子です。
強度の関係上、天井が斜めですが、
湿気対策としては
平らな天井より、斜めの天井の方が湿気が逃げやすくなります。
お風呂自体を床より下に埋め込むことによって
お風呂の中へ入りやすいようしました。

シャワー正面

奥の壁に窓を付けることが出来なかったので、変わりに天窓を設置。
開閉式なので換気対策も万全です。
お風呂はアンダーマウント式
（お風呂のヘリが乗っていないもの）なので、
掃除がしやすくなりました。

The bathroom, which was originally in a worn-out condition, has undergone a revitalizing transformation, emerging as a new and improved space. Through this renovation, the bathroom has been reimagined into a comfortable and functional area.

The new bathroom stands out with its cleanliness and brightness. The removal of antiquated elements and the introduction of new features have contributed to a more beautiful and practical bathroom. This change has elevated the experience of daily activities such as bathing and personal grooming, making them more comfortable and enjoyable.

もともと古びた状態にあったバスルームが、新しく生まれ変わりました。この改装によって、バスルームは快適で機能的な空間に変貌しました。新しいバスルームは、清潔感と明るさが際立っています。古さが取り払われ、代わりに新しい要素が導入されたことで、バスルームはより美しく、機能的に生まれ変わりました。この変化によって、日常の入浴や身だしなみの時間が、より快適で楽しいものになったことでしょう。

In the previously dim shower room without a ventilation fan, we installed a ventilation fan with built-in lighting and added a rain head type shower head. This has resulted in improved brightness, making the space more user-friendly than before.

換気扇のなかった暗いシャワールームに、ライトが付いた換気扇を取り付け、レインヘッドタイプのシャワーヘッドを設置しました。これにより、以前よりも照明が明るくなり、利用しやすくなりました。

We installed a tall cabinet to provide storage space. The vanity, featuring a floating design, helps create the illusion of a more spacious area and contributes to a modern aesthetic. To enhance the overall look, we added a mirror with integrated lighting, ensuring that the person's face is brightly illuminated.

高さのあるキャビネットを取り付け収納スペースを確保。 洗面台は、浮いたものを使用することで空間を広く見せることができ、 仕上がりもモダンになりました。 鏡は、映る人の顔が明るく照らされる 照明付きの鏡を取り付けました。

The heat vent cover utilizes the same tiles as the floor, and a specially designed cover has been adopted to ensure a flat surface. 空調の出口のカバーは、床と同じタイルを使用し、平らになるように特別なデザインのカバーが採用されました。

Bathroom/Woodridge/Bellevue

In this project, we have implemented a series of considerate modifications to convert a conventional bathroom into an accessible space suitable for wheelchair users.

このプロジェクトでは、一般的なバスルームを車椅子の方にも利用しやすいアクセシブルな空間に変えるため、慎重な改修を数々実施しました。

To make the shower accessible for wheelchair users, we eliminated the step at the shower entrance, creating a more user-friendly entry and exit.

車椅子の方でもシャワーを利用できるように、シャワー入り口の段差を取り払い、出入りしやすい状態にしました

At the washbasin area, we deliberately designed the space beneath the sink at an angle to allow wheelchair access.

洗面台の部分では、わざとシンク下のスペースを斜めにし、車椅子が入るようにしました。

We took precautionary measures by waterproofing the entire bathroom floor to ensure resilience against potential incidents. With a fully barrier-free design and waterproofing, the bathroom is now a secure and worry-free space for wheelchair users.

万が一の為に、バスルームの床は全て防水加工にしました。完全バリアフリーと防水加工によって、車椅子の方も安心して使用できるようになりました。

Japanese Bathroom/ Inglewood/ Sammamish

It was regrettable to dismantle the originally splendid bathroom, but due to severe water leakage issues, we conducted a reconstruction project to build a new one.

素晴らしいお風呂場を壊すことは残念でしたが、水漏れの問題が深刻だったため、新たに作り直す工事を実施しました。

Behind Walls

The walls and floor were extensively deteriorated, necessitating almost a complete replacement. Neglecting the choice of tiles and waterproofing measures can lead to such conditions.

壁と床が完全に腐食しており、ほぼ全てを交換しました。タイルの種類や防水工事を怠ると、こういった状態になります。

After

We renovated the deteriorated walls and floor, replacing the tiles with materials of low permeability. This transformation resulted in a new, reassuring bathroom.

腐食していた壁と床を修復し、タイルを浸透性の低い素材に変更することで、安心できる新しいお風呂に生まれ変わりました。
